"There’s nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer”

A volunteer himself, Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle once said: “There’s nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer.” Lt. Col. Doolittle personally led a squadron of Army bombers in a raid on the Japanese mainland, manned completely by volunteer crews. Historians perceive Doolittle not only as a war hero, but also as a major morale leader for soldiers in the United States because of his heart for volunteering and taking up causes for the betterment of others. Sound's familiar huh?

At Living for Zachary, we’ve been very fortunate to have some incredible volunteers contribute their individual skills and abilities to the honorable cause of raising awareness of and helping with the prevention of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in our youth.

As you know Living for Zachary holds various events throughout the year to help raise funds to benefit the awareness of Sudden Cardiac Awareness, if it were not for the Volunteers who give their countless hours of time and effort and our financial supporters and sponsors, we just could not have done it and Living for Zachary wouldn't have been what it is today.

If you are interested in Volunteering at one of our L4Z events, please visit our website or contact Living for Zachary's Volunteer Coordinator: Kim Granger kim@living4zachary.org. If you are interested in giving in another way; click here to be taken to the Sponsor Page, or Click here to donate to L4Z. Whatever way you can help, please do.

As all of our lives get so hectic, we forget to thank those that have been true and loyal, so thank all of you for your support in helping us make this possible, through awareness, financial support and prayers. You have the heart of gold and nothing better than the heart of a Volunteer. Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle would be proud to see such a wonderful group. Keep praying and keep volunteering because we KNOW we are making a difference.

Let's make our heart's strong and volunteer today.
