The Lord Remembers....and so do we

Zacharias was a priest, and the father of John the Baptist, the forerunner of the long-expected Messiah, Jesus Christ. When it was announced to him that his son would hold this great honor, he refused to believe the message, and for his disbelief was punished by not being able to speak until his son was born. His son was born and Zacharias was able to speak in which he praised God.

Zacharias means, “the Lord remembers”, and at Living for Zachary, we acknowledge the importance and need of raising awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). We want to encourage others to not be in disbelief of the seriousness of SCA and to break from the silence and encourage others to do the same.

Living for Zachary has been so fortunate and we are so appreciative to have a “Zacharias” cross, donated by owner Christopher J. Oropeza of UniquelyXpressed, to the Living for Zachary HeartBeats Gala Silent Auction. Thank you for this very special to the Living for Zachary Foundation.

Thank you to UniquelyXpressed for the special gift and their efforts in increasing awareness of SCA (Sudden Cardiac Arrest) in our youth. Please remember the name of Zacharias: “the Lord remembers” in all of our misery and despair, God has remembered.

Please join Living for Zachary for the HeartBeats Gala on February 19th, 2011 at the Marriott Legacy, 7120 Dallas Parkway in Plano, Texas. This wonderful event for Living for Zachary will be from 7:00PM - Midnight and tickets can be purchased on the Living for Zachary HeartBeats Gala page. If you have an item that you would like to donate to the Silent Auction - please download the Auction Donation Form and fax to Living for Zachary.
